Van Damn! What's with these prices?

I was looking around at prices on exhaust & wheels. Found the D & D bolt on's for about $550 OUCH! I paid less for a custom exhaust from the engine back on my car. Wheels nice but nearly $2K for them?? Uhhhh no! Again I've seen a full set for my car for less. Is there some serious price gouging going on here or what?

Timing & patience! I've got some great buys on Gen 1 stuff. $940.00 Brocks carbon fiber slip ons for $199, brand new. Roadlock for $20, new too. Log on daily, when that great deal shows up, it can sell out fast.

+1 Im on here atleast a few times a day sometimes just reading threads at times going through the classifieds looking for deals or if I find something someone is looking for pm them and help out. GL

Ha $550 for D&D Pipes is good, cause no one wants them! Way too loud!
As for wheels, and such, bike parts are more expensive generally.

bike parts are way more expensive because they are designed to save weight on a car thats not as important so it can be bulkier

So you can find deals here huh? Good to know! I'm not really ready to outfit it yet I was just looking for ideas & what the price range will be, I'm a first time biker so gotta know before ya buy.

This is good to know, I don't really want LOUDER but I do want something close to stock looking and easy installation. Those are the only bolt on ones that I've seen.

Try RC component wheels.Ouch, brocks alien head ouch.Nothing is cheap when building a bike.
