Valve Operation at High RPM's

Ever wondered what valves look like as they open and close in the combustion chamber?
Here's a BMW S1000RR at 14,000 rpm! And yes, they float to the point of rotation . . .
well I found it interesting anyway . .

I think they’re designed to ‘float to the point of rotation’ or BOOM. Imagine the compressed explosions that occur at that rpm.
