I used to ride it as a loop by going up Baldy, then Glendora Ridge Road to GMR...back down the hill. From the distance you described, are you just going up then back down on GMR from San Dimas? Do you avoid Glendora Ridge Road?

This was from East Fork (coming up from Azusa Canyon) to where the road splits to Glendora and Baldy. The Glendora side was closed.

I like to ride it all, the Glendora side being my favorite but it's closed most of the time.

It's all open right now, the part you saw in the video is VERY dirty due to the recent rains. Can't really have much fun when it's dirty other than sliding around the corners...
