Glasses came in today.. pick up tomorrow but today was the visit with the Dr...

You know that look when they walk in and you know they are about to ruin your day?

Well you have degenerative disk disease and that is causing some nerve issues and we need to check for damage.. and so I go through this full EMG thing and he finds a pinched nerve and carpal tunnel along with the disk thing...

He is still not coming clean, you can feel it..

The MRI shows a problem with your heart.. the aorta is well enlarged and needs a CAT scan... friggn great... what does that mean? I asked him.. He goes, you will need to see your regular Dr... nothing more... humbug..

all said and one? they have me lined up for some spinal block thing at the surgery center as an outpatient..

D**n! I am reminded why I don't go to the doctor.
That and the fact that it seems once you get into your 50s, everything they want to test or do involves sticking things up your butt.:mad2:
