Anyone know if Gen2 tranny guts fit in a Gen1 case? My friend has a Gen1 that trashed 4th and he was wondering if he could get the Gen2 guts off ebay (he wants the stronger output shaft) Aside from a Gen2 front sprocket would he need to change anything else?

I don't believe ALL of the parts will change over. Some of the shafts were enlarged for the GEN2.

That's what I thought cause the Gen2 trans is supposed to be strengthened...Anyone know for sure what is compatible/not?
