Which means, that while he may be stuck nursing new riders in Novice, he will also be riding for FREE with huge tire discounts!
Disalvo....but he's not on our team.![]()

Seriously though, stepping into A group is nice shot of reality. I learned a good bit just watching and providing a pass test dummy to a lot of those guys.Wow Weee! I thought you were movin pretty good- ...

The biggest benefit is the open track. A group doesn't wad up like I group. The pace is much more even. It provides lots of opportunity to work on different skills without having to work traffic every other turn.

Yes the pace is much more flowing too over I group! It also teaches you how to pass and to be passed! I had a rider hit me and a instructor hit me. I didnt freak and held my line, but they ride tight on you! Fun stuff!

Motorcycle - 1:23.664 - avg. speed - 115.474 mph - Mat Mladin - April 2008 (Barber Motorsports Park)
This is the time to beat fellas! When you reach a consistent lap time within ten seconds of the track record, you know you are rockin & Rollin with the advanced group!
Mat Mladin however, was in a unique group of riders known as the "Best of the Best"!![]()

If the infamous "Team Gixxer" wants to trim your lap times down, mount your camera on the tank so the speedo, Tac & gear indicator shows at the bottom of the screen. With this information it's very easy to critique yourself with lines, gear selection, lean angle, corner entry speed (Compare all three riders against each other) throttle or power band management, exit speed (Including where the bike is pointed at the apex) weight transfer, braking points and the list goes on. With the camera mounted on the helmet it makes a fun video to watch but has limited bike control information.
All three of you fellas need to work on Power Band Management. At the 2-Fast school we have one complete classroom session on "Power Band Management"! Managing lean angle with the throttle as well as exit speed is as foreign to you guys as moon dust!
Whichever member of the "Team Gixxer" crew is willing to spend the time, money and effort to incorporate "Quality" instruction into his resume will become the quickest member in the group!![]()
Don't think so....a man has to have goals and that time good sir, is not on my short list. I'm happy with where I am given my experience.
