Top triple clamp/cover

The top triple clamp prevents adjustment of the fork.  Has anyone drilled holes in the stock triple to allow raising the forks (lowering the front)--it appears that the clip-on clamp is in the way?  Or is there a good replacement top clamp that allows the adjustment (Yoshimura)?

Theres quite a few different ones out . Send a PM to Streetntrack on the board . He's a sponser here and sells them at a good price . I don't know of anyone that has driled the stock ones.
