I rode a buddies 04' ZX10 and it felt like a rocket for real. Too light for my taste though and not enough wind protection either. If I were 120lbs and 5'2" tall then maybe. I will stick to my comfortable Busa. Wind protection and weight to keep the stability. How fast you get to 180+ is one thing but how long you can hold it is another.

Damn a brand new busa and its already getting spanked by liters. Its getting bad when you can hardly even get the new gen uncrated before the liters are already beating it

At least the first gen ruled the roost for a few years before it went down

You guys all know what happens when you start modding all those bikes! {pipe, filter PC, etc.] KNOW BIKE TAKES TO MODS LIKE THE BUSA. who leaves there bike stock. Go to the drag track or Maxton some time and see who dominates...LOL

I'd love to have a liter bike too. Key word being TOO. 200 miles on the Busa and I feel good. 200 miles on a 10r or any liter bike (600 or 750 too for that matter) and I can barely stand up. Not as young as I used to be and comfort takes priority over being a second quicker to 180mph. Busa therapy for my aching back. But a liter Gixxer would be fun for shorter Sunday morning rides down the twisties.

i POSTED up a day or 2 ago about being on the highway, and having a zx-10 racing me. Yes i ripped him, but he wasent too far behind me! The liter bikes ARE the future. They get the newest tech. pushed to them first. But put it on the highway for a couple hours next to a Busa and the rider proly wont even want to race. No comfort. Street legal track bikes. Just that......track bikes.

Yes I have been on a couple also. They are very fast, and too light for my taste. They are also harder to do performance mods on in my opinion. Good bike though.

Since top speed and performance (I can't match the slowest numbers riding the FASTEST Bike listed

That is cool info! I look up the zx 10 after reading this and it is not bad at all look wise!
