Took a trip to PA grand canyon today.. a few pics.. and a scare..

Well, it was a beautiful day so we went up to the PA grand canyon.. its an amazing trip with smooth curvy roads.. i think our avg speed was about 80-90 on the sweepers.. my buddy just got some fancy pants (knee pucks) for his zx14...

Oh and as soon as I got there I noticed my back tire had cords showing.. I had just lubed the chain this morning and the tire was fine(aka no cords lol)..getting low but still looked ok.. this tire lasted about 3000 miles.. ill be getting the correct one next time (got the pilot POWER instead of the ROAD ct2). But we rode REALLY aggressive the whole way up.

Grenbean, how right you are man.. Its like you are in a different world.. just you and the bike... at one point on the ride up there you pass this beautiful pond....big as a lake.. just gorgeous.... its like... camping at 100mph!! And as you pass the people..they look and you know they are thinking.... "cool!"

Nick.. it does look better in pictures.. ill be honest. It has some scratches, but cleaned up it would look great. Im actually going to completely redo the bike over the winter. It will be amazing when im done!

absolutely. I will round up some good folks and you can bring your cruiser buddies from the other day just kidding. Yeah definitely man, I think we should get together. I didnt start to like pa until I bought this bike.

I just have to get a rear tire first.

truth is, im a moron. I impulse bought a new leather jacket today.. 200 bucks.. right before my tire showed bands lol... So im wearing my tire...

lol yeah I got the rear tire, gotta order front soon. I'm gonna end up havin to sell my Kimber i'm sure....just gotta get some debt off my back

well its probly gonna be more than what you wanna spend lol. I bought it for $950 I think this March. But since then I added a lighter trigger, and its only had 2 mags through it so its still a baby
