Maybe this is presumptive of me but, "do you miss me?" just kidding

I just wanted to say to all you awesome folks that I haven't been posting on the org because I've been training on my bicyle to the tune of 120+ miles per week and off days in the gym with weights.....all in preperation for my June 14th 800 mile in 8 days ride to the Grand Canyon from Reno.
As a 62 year old, my life has been consumed by this commitment to myself. I'm so grateful to my wife and daughters for their understanding (dad's training again!).
Both my Busas wait for me in the garage for their "final pre season assembly" and I look forward to that! C alot of U at the Stampede this season!

Love ya all, talk 2U later. Doyle

800 miles in 8 days of peddling! WOW! Definitely admire you for the guts, can't say I'd do that myself. Now 800 miles in 8 hours on the Busa....then we can talk.

Best of luck Doyle - ride fast!!

That's funny! Actually it's quite disconcerting on fast, tight downhills with your feet clipped in, you do have to get the inside pedal up and transfer weight.....with a contact patch the size of a cigarette!

I'm much more comfortable @ 140 mph on the Busa than 40 on the Motobecane!

Doyle

ps thanks for all the nice comments you all.

Ya we miss ya Doyle, shoot I miss the whole group lately, seems everyone is off doing something on their own or have left the org for good for one reason or another.

Well all I can say is "enjoy the burn" and as I've said in the past you continue to inspire us out of shape 52 year olds, thank you for the inspiration.

Looking forward to our next group ride, maybe we can do a coastal/Skaggs ride sometime in the near future, that's always a good one.

Coastal/Skaggs, yes! How about that'll be the maiden journey for the black superbyke?! That gives me a good one to look forward to.
