i got a 120/60/17 m1 i think i should have a 120/70/17 will this be ok or should i get the right tire

You put this in the twisties forum so I assume you ride twisties alot.

In this case go with the stock size, the 70 profile.

Is there a big difference because i already have the tire. It's not on the bike but i still have some money invested.

I don't know if its a big difference.

The higher profile makes leaning it over easier, less effort.  It also gives a bigger footprint at extreme lean angle, more rubber on the road.

The lower profile lowers the height of the front, better for drag racing(keeps the front down).  It also gives a bigger footprint in the center of the tire.

I would definitely stick to the original 70 size... unless you're more of a straight line rider...
