Was having some problems with my 6yo craftsman professional series toolbox (some rust, locks sticking, and 2 of the ball bearing slides broke). It had led a rough life in the 6-7 years I had it. Turns out the box has a lifetime no questions asked replacement warranty. Got a brand new box today. ($2500) Free

Now I just need 6 more years to collect more racing stickers

Just some of the boxes have the warranty
"If any Craftsman Professional, Craftsman Pro-Set or Craftsman Industrial
Chest or Cabinet ever fails to give complete satisfaction, return it to
the NEAREST SEARS STORE IN THE UNITED STATES AND SEARS WILL REPAIR OR
REPLACE IT, FREE OF CHARGE."

in fact at on the registers, they have a whole bunch of tools ready to replace yours.. no questions asked.

Snap on, mac and the likes make a great tool but they are waaaay over priced and if they break you have to wait for the guy to come around. If you owe them money this is pretty often and they will find you -- if you don't or have the tools at home -- SOL

Man ! Thanks for telling me xzvs !! I've been fighting those drawers for years now . Headin' to Sears on monday morning .

Gonna have to keep that in mind, my pro. box keeps breaking the little plastic hooks that keep the drawers shut. Maybe I could talk em into giving me a new griplatch box!
