Didn't know you could edit other peoples posts, would like to see what he had to say. Not trying to ruffle any feathers or defend him but I was kicked of a board for calling a person a JERK for posting false info saying Carroll Shelby died on a Cobra rep owners group site. They told me to appologize because millionaires own their cars. I told them I didn't care about other peoples money and didn't appreciate someone wasting my time and wouldn't appologize for it. If I had used profanity I could see it, I have been called worse. I understand the tension over his Ladies post, I wouldn't have taken that route but I do remember a recent flap regarding the photo archive also not being for kids and some pics being offensive. My opinion Political Correctness is going too far you can't please everyone all the time sometimes you have to realize most of us are grown ups {not knowing if ther are minor members} and people need to lighten up a little. (racism being the only exception that is not tolerable and I agree women are not objects) I apperiate the time spent to read this.
I edited what that "member" said because it was innapropriate for this board. I would not remove what someone has to say just because I don't agree with what they have to say. Everything he said was left alone until he went too far and decided to offend everyone here no matter who they were. At that point I had no choice but to delete everything he said. If you really wish to know what was said, I can let you know tomorrow by private message but it is not necessary.

From the posts I read, HayabusaKickAss didn't exactly put much effort into making a good impression. Within his first few posts he was swearing at people answering his questions. Not to mention his topic about women was not the kind of image we encourage around here. If Cache banned him, then there must have been even worse stuff in that deleted message. Good job, Cache.

Great. I am only on at work and it figures I miss some idiot getting banned. I would have loved to have blasted him. I am one of the few or the only one here that can actually view porn and/or explicit material at work. I have a private office. I don't go looking for it, but if it pops up here I won't get in trouble. It's good that Cache took him out because the rest of don't have the same liberties(sp?) I do. I guess I got the jist of what he said so I don't need to ask.

It's sad this guy had to get on here and come off like that. He's gone though. GOOD! We don't need that. However, I found it particularly funny in a childish kind of way (childish on his part) that he was referring to women on this site as "BUSA BABES." I mean really, come on, that is funny! Not funny at the women, but funny that this guy thought it would be accepted. Kind of reminded me of Steve Martin and Dan Ackroid as "those wild and crazy guys" from the old, old Saturday Night Live, and something they would have said. I mean, imagine it: "Hey my brother from Checkaslovakia, do you think all of the BUSA BABES on this site would love to swing with us? We are, TWO WILD AND CRAZY GUYS." I try to see the humor in things. Still glad this guy is gone though! Good job Cache!

I am an IS person for the Feds and hank is correct I can see where they have been watch there screen while they work open programs take over there computer restart it whatever I want pretty much . I can look through there email they hate that one Because we have rules about email

I am aware of my companies set-up. They don't bother looking at you unless someone reports you. That is why I am OK. I don't go looking for porn sites. I don't pull anything off the net with certain terms in the description. I often delete cookies and events. I have the Lan Admin's password and thoroughly clean my machine. I almost always just surf the three message boards I belong to. My company, as large as it is, isn't that sophisticated. I am still trying to be careful, but you never know. I appreciate the advice. I really am not that much of an offender. There have been people fired for surfing porn. Those people aren't doing there work and they pull 100 sites in an hour. I may have pulled one or two in the past 2 years as a mistake. But LaBusa's site had some and I don't think they could tell I browsed it twice a month ago.

This is just my opinion, but it makes me a little nervous that this guy was banned so quickly. Yes he was totally out of line. Yes he was rude. And NO we shouldn't tolerate such behavior. But unless there was one of his posts I didn't get to see, they could have been a lot worse.
I would like to hope that he was at least given due process so to speak. I mean I hope that Captain and the powers that be confered about this guy before the decision was made. I also hope that a private message of some sort was sent to him warning him and telling him to back off. I further believe that a properly edited version of his posts should have been left. I think that it would be valuable for all of us to know what would cause a guy to get banned. Furthermore, it would be nice to have a example thread to call to the attention of the next idiot that logs on.
So, I didn't like the guy, and I am glad that he is gone, but I am still a bit nervous about sesorship issues and banning people too fast.
