Just want to let you all know that some major deductions are going to be removed for 2010. I heard but have not confirmed that we will no longer be able to deduct for our property and education expenses. Theres more but not sure what else is going to be eliminated. On top of that we are also going to have more tax increases so be ready. I just increased my withholdings by $100.00 so I won't have to pay in next year. Really sucks I have to live with less money. We are so screwed.

my tax advisor has enough trouble just doing taxes...


i look to congress before any H&R blockhead's... just sayin'



no way in hell education will be touched, especially in an obama/dem administration.... its made up of mostly all teachers... and they are pushing more funding TOO school in the form of loans w/ lower interest rates, and increased pell grants...


i will seriously be astonished (and with foot in mouth) if that actually occurs...


the housing one would also surprise me, if for no other reason than its been around for years....


what might occur, is that they put a cap on the total deductions... which i dont THINK there is right now...


either way, im keeping my fingers crossed that they dont...

The Feds must be making good money off us sheep. They are the only area of the economy that is growing. According to one report the number of federal employees increased 14% last year while the rest of the country was/is loosing jobs every month.

Does anyone know the total number of Federal Employees currently?
