Tap tap tappy at start up.

There is a light tapping noise at start up on my 04. 20,000 km (12500 miles) on the clock. Oil level is fine. Will need a change in another 1000km or so.

Getting close to the valve inspection at 24,000km. Is this what it may be?
Noise quites down after warm up.

Never mind. Did a search. Noisy engine blah blah blah. Should have remember that about Suzuki's from my old Kanotuna.

Could also be the Cam Chain Tensioner - just getting ready to 'adjust' a little tighter. Mine used to be really noticeable until the CCT finally adjusted itself...
