I had a noise that I thought was a rock or something vibrating in my right body panel. I could only hear it around 2000 RPM's
Was at Dealer buying an oil filter and Oil.. I ask Mechanic to listen to it, He said probably clutch noise.. I told him it didn't change when I pulled the clutch lever.. He said not to worry about it.Well I'm Mr. Anal and like to have everything right.. Started reading and some guys had the same problem.. When they replaced the CCT noise went away. I took spring out of CCT, Measured the Length, And stretched it about 1/16 of an inch.
No more Cam Chain noise.. Thought I'd post what I did.. Might help someone else.. I remembered having a Toyota Truck that had Oil pressure weakness and stretched the Oil pump spring. It made the start up cam chain slap go away in it. Drove Toyota truck many miles after that.
So I tried it on my Busa...If it doesn't last Ill buy another CCT...
