Zimbabwe used to be a very agriculturally productive country. The farms were run by European settlers. Those people were run off when their productive farms where confiscated by the Mugabe administration. When they left, the expertise to run the farms left. The land reverted back to wilderness.

I think some people want to be a victim so bad, they just think whatever they have to think to make it so, no matter what the reality is. Reverend Al, and others like him, are trying to do a good thing, but they go overboard sometimes.

Well they don't teach you a lot in history class just what they want you to know. The rest you have to find out on your own. Have any of you ever sit down and talked to a older African American and asked them to tell you some of their own stories of what they have seen in their life alone? It is funny how a lot of people are experiencing what others have been going through all their life and the act as though it's the end of the world. It's probably true but just their own little world.

I live in a very rural area, and you're right, I don't know a single African American farmer. I don't think that has anything to do with the government. As far as paying more for materials, I don't know of any farmer that buys seed or anything else from uncle sam.

Nah! Not blaming the government as a whole.

I'm not defending or denying the discrimination that has happened in the past or present. I just don't think we've really had this specific thing happen here. If a person were to want to argue that it has, I think the Native Americans have a much better case.
