Syvecs

Hi

Newbie here, has anybody on here had any experience with Syvec's ecu's. I'm just having one put on my busa and can't wait to see the results. I was told it had more features than the mbe equivalent??

Syvex is a Motec style ECU without the tech support but with sadly a few gremlins. One UK rider went from going 7.30's with Motec to nearly flipping his bike with the Syvex boost control breaking his wrists in the process. That's with the Syvex tech guys directly tuning his bike. That was after a year of hunting down ghost shift kill signals on his launch.

Stick to the proven path on bespoke ECU's.

Interesting, Sorry I meant motec not mbe, have you had any first hand experience with these ecu's? I like the idea of traction and launch control at the touch of an app on your phone. Sorry I'm not very technically minded on these things, what's a ghost shift kill ?

Syvecs use on busa and ZX10 turbo, Jack Frost from Holeshot Northern Ireland.
At the moment we are trying to install S6 on turbo BMW.

Jack was not bad results with this ECU. About 700 horsepower on Hayabusa.

In Russia built several fastest in the world (at a distance of 1/4 mile) supercars Porsche, Lamborghini, GTR with this ECU.

ok i think i need to put the record straight i use a LIFE RACING F88 ecu and not a syvecs s8 they are both made by life racing. i was the one that had 600hbp at the 100 foot mark at santa pod when the bike stood on its tail and broke both wrists on impact!!!!!!!. the reason for why is not known as yet (suspect a failed boost pipe)i cant be sure until i can get the bike on a dyno.

while the support from life racing is appallingly bad. syvecs the sister company is very good and will give you all the help you need and Ryan Griffiths the technical director really knows his stuff. and is on the end of the phone or email or if you want to pay onsite/track tuning.

one thing i will mention these are not user friendly in the software layout so be prepared to struggle for a start but the functions are very high spec and will do all you need.

700hp is real easy to say you have which is a shame for those who actually have done 700hp for which at the last count was only 4 people/bikes on the planet.

Being capable of is a different story.

You can ask Jack graph his Hayabusa.

Our BMW with ECU syvecs S6 in the process.
After him we will put syvecs on our LSR Hayabusa and trying to get 700hp. :)
