Swingarm Question

Can I use any Swingarm off of Gsxr or do i have to keep with 1000 in order for me to stretch it. I was told the other day that i could use a swingarm off of a 600, but i have always been told that 750 or 1000's were the only swingarms that could be used to stretch it. I plan on getting a busa next year and i want to have a swingarm already to go. THat way i can lower it and stretch it when i get it.

i have a 600 arm that is stretched for 4 inches already i had on my bike underbraced and powdercoated black if you'd be interested i'm looking to sell it just shoot me a pm if ya are
