swingarm extension problem

i just installed swiing arm ext and the bar that goes from the frame to the caliper is touching the tire. do i need to bent the brake torque torque arm to make it fit. i'm talking about the little arm that conect from the frame to the caliper. my set up came with a little extension but is not working. i tried different ways and is always touching the tire the only way i see this working is by bending the hell out of it.

Ive seen the arm connected to the hole where the swingarm spool connects,If this helps.

I have never liked those type of Brake arm braces. They will not work with wide rear tires. I supply a Brake arm brace with my extensions like the one in the pic.

Looks like you have it backwards.....the only one i ever saw,had the extension mounted to the swing arm.

+1 on that. Try putting the brake arm extension on first then Brake arm.

still, very, too close to the tire. i'm making myself a brake arm.

when i put my extentions on they came with the same "gay" little extention for the brace arm. I got a piece of scrap 1/8" x 1" aluminium and bent it to fit the bike. If you have some basic tools it's pretty easy.

go to NYCPARTS they have a bracket you dont need the arm

Mine also came with a thinner longer brake bar.

Why are there metal shavings under your bike

I used my swingarm mount licsence plate bracket for mine. no bars not plates. work awsome!!!!
