Swing arm extensions

I am going to order my extensions soon and wanted to know how you guys installed them.If I use a swing arm lift and put the extensions on, how do i get it higher to get the wheel back on??Do i slide the stand back or can I lift in the middle some where??

i just put my bike on jack stands, hooked on the spools. no problems there. Had to give it a little push to get off though.

I used a standard jack and a chunk o wood. The cats handled the weight without any issues.

I will use a floor jack I guess.

when putting them on I just used the spool stand. To lower the bike back down I did what quantum did and put a piece of wood under the tire to get the stand off then just rolled the bike off the wood.
when I took them off I shoved a rod through the swing arm pivot and put the bike up on jack stands.
