Supercharged 1441 Gen2

Just picked up my 2019 Busa HTP Performance pumped their expertise into:
1441 fully built low compression motor
CNC pro port head
Carillo rods, pistons, ape studs, hd springs, etc
Motec m130 ECU controlled
Ceramic wheel and transmission bearings
BST wheels (6.75 rear)
TTS Performance supercharger kit
Dunlop Q5 tires

Been super cold and terrible weather, but put around 30 miles on her and wow does she pull HARD. I've owned a 1397 gen1 and a rcc turbo Gen2 with the ultra plenum, so I'm familiar with fast busas...This 1441supercharged busa is by far the smoothest most fun bike I've ridden yet. It made 383hp on pump fuel and doesn't feel like a two-stroke like my old turbo bike which made 514 HP on c-16.
As soon as the weather turns warmer I'm going H2 hunting
Hell yeah brother! I'm also running a TTS blown gen3 Busa. Built motor, but stock bore/stroke. What cams are you running?
Stock cams degreed 110/110. Didn't want to give up my midrange torque with a big cam...How many miles you got on yours and who did your work and tuning?
Roger that! I have stock gen2 cams. It's actually a fully built gen2 motor that I was going to turbo in my B-king. Decided to put it in the Busa, so had to swap the shift drums to make it work properly in the gen3. I did all the work. Running the tune that Richard from TTS gave me for the factory ecu. I don't like the tune at all, so that's why I'll be going with a Maxx setup. Probably have Logan Ring in Alabama who works with Dennis Clanton tune it for me after I install the Maxx.
I've put about 2,000 miles on the setup so far. Been working away from home since August.

What's the difference in the shift drums, and why, is one better with the quickshifter?
Yea, HTP told me trying to tune my bike through the stock ECU would be VERY difficult and time consuming...A stand alone ECU is the way to go unfortunately they are very expensive...
You guys living outside of California are so lucky. We have the lovely California Air Resources Board that will yank a mechanic's license and shop license if they do aftermarket work on cars and bikes. There are some underground shops here but it's word of mouth and verifying their ability is hard to do.
I'm thinking of sending my bike to Carpenter Racing in NJ for their ported head, cams and 1441cc kit but the kicker having to ship the bike there and back which adds $$$ to the cost.
The shift drum rotates the opposite direction from the gen2 due to the quickshifter and shift arm, and the gear position sensor is on the outside and keyed to the shift start versus being inside and behind the clutch basket on the previous gen Busas.

Yeah, I'm not even going to bother with trying to fine tune the factory ecu. The MaxxEcu is in the works very shortly.
Yeah, I'd have to give up every hobby I have just to live in California. Not worth it for many reasons to me.
The only plus we have here is year round riding weather.
It was 65 degrees today in the San Francisco Bay Area where I live.
That big storm last week was far far away from us.

Ah, gotcha...thanks for the good info, always appreciated
@Lawson Duncan-we need pics!

@Gen3lover-go a head and send it to Carpenter&don't worry about the shipping charges. Trust me,you'll love that 1441!

Have no idea why the "like" or "quote" function is not showing up for me in the bottom right of the posts

My emojis havn't worked in years, and not that I really like using them either, but my lol and lmao in most of my posts helps to keep most people from taking me too seriously...
