What's up fellas? When I bought my busa a month ago it was already stretched and lowered. I have a 7-9" stretch on it now. I'm thinking about removing the stretch and putting it back to stock so I can handle twisties/turns a little better. I don't have the stock parts. Do i just need the rear axle setup (blocks and spacers?).

Secondly, if anyone has a set how much would you let them go for?

Thanks
-Ben

I wouldn't be against trading my stock arm... hint, hint. Is it a whole swingarm or extensions, black or silver?:beerchug: And just so you know, my bike is an 06 with 3500 miles on it so the arm hasn't seen too many miles.

just take the extensions off and get a new stock chain/sprocket set giving you the optoin to go back to stretched.

It kind of depends.

Remove the extensions
Shorten the chain with a new master link.
The axle and spacers should be the same.
The axle blocks may or may not be stock
The brake arm (runs along the bottom conecting the swingarm to the caliper bracket) may be stock with an extension or a long one)
I think a stock brake line is only good for 6" over (it gets rerouted) so you may have an extra long one.

Take some pictures of the axle adjuster blocks, brake line setup, and brake bar and post them up. There are plenty here than can help get you started.

Here is a pic, so you're saying I can just take the blocks off of the swingarm extensions and use them as stock parts? If so that's awsome. I hope the pic is ok, I just took it with a cellphone, if you need a better pic let me know and I'll take a better one tomorrow.

It looks like your blocks will fit. worst case scenario, buy a set off e-bay. buy a stock or shortened brake hose. most of what you are looking to do can be done very cheaply off ebay plus give you the option to go back.

Dont buy a short brake line, especially if you already have a braided one. Just un-bolt it at the master and re-route it twoards the front of the bike bending it back twoards the rear to take up some of the slack. Thats how the factory does it anyways...
