I know this is a busa forum but I have a Kawardsucky ZZR-600 and am trying to replace the stator cover.

The bolts holding the coil inside wont budge and im afraid i might strip the bolts.
The bolts are torq type and im using a torq type screw driver.

Does any one have any ideas on how to loosening those bolts to get the coil out?

Use a plumbers torch and heat them up. this will loosen up the loctite

And use the torque bit on the ratchet as suggested.

Thanks guys, I will try torch and ratchet

no impact driver? (uses a driver with a hammer) is all we ever used on dirt bikes (forever throwing parts off otherwise)

There is three bolts,I got two bolts out and stripped the other. I guess I will buy an impact driver and see what that does. Thanks guys.

Stripped one

.....Hmmmmmm.......take a dremel with a cutting disk, cut yourself a slot wide enough for large-flat head screwdriver, and whip that sucker out of there....
