Well, I had room 107 booked since the fall bash but it seems that now it's been turned into a laundry or some such. Ms Reba moved me to room 110 (hope the shower works) for Thursday - Saturday... someone else has my room rented for Sat night...... that really sucks! So I guess I'll leave Saturday sometime, I was planning on leaving Sunday, but oh well

Oh Tim, thanks for the call, got your message and called over there.....

If it was to be moved it should be moved to eureka springs or at least centrally located.. I never understood this thing being basicly on the east coast anyways..
dunno.gif
if the Bash was in the center of the US maybe we could pull members from the west as well as the east..

So maybe next year that would be something to think about.

there already is an event at in the central US... we just coined "the bash" first ... like 4 or 5 years ago

come on out, you know you like it there

we'll have to consider moving to one of the other "resorts" in the fall or next spring, depending on turn out & how this all boils down with Reba. Her reservation system needs an overhaul or we'll be forced to change venues so we dont have this happen again.

You might have a place in the central US but I think you will be hard pressed to provide the "LooP" that is the deals gap area..Dragon, Skyway, Parkway.... not to mention about half a dozen other routes...

I have a question that maybe some past Busa Bash attendees can answer for me. Is the bash's family friendly? My 9 year old son loves to go on the Busa and I would love to bring him along, but with this being the first time that I am going I am unsure if I should bring him along. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

From what I saw last year? bring the kids... this group would receive him with open arms I am sure..

The rides are "run your own pace" and most certainly a great outing..

camp fire talk might be a bit of a mature audience setting but during the day, I think he would have the time of his life...

I am thinking about bringing my 11 year old boy too!

ALSO considering even bringing the wife but not sure about that one - she always winds up wandering around and...... er, never mind..... besides, there may be more drawings / board sponsor giveaways and I'll need her carma there.... hmmmmmm might reconsider.....

Oh, and as far as the nearest wet spot being 40 miles away, not true! There are 'wet spots' in the strangest of places in them there mountains!
One need only make a BEER RUN and sing the magic beer song.... Anyone can drive but Raybusa has to do the singing + I stashed a bottle of hooch under the sink in room 118 back in April '07 - it should still be there!
