How many miles a day do you ride when touring. Sounds like 500 between gas stations :poke:

Oh it depends.. normal touring I fill up when the main tank is empty (so @200 between stops), unless I am in a remote area and need to run into reserve. When rally riding I'll go as far as I can between fillups, which on the XX with the aux was 400-450ish miles.

Very nice! The adaptability to go between your "sport mode" & "touring mode" so easily , is what makes the bike so attractive. You have two bikes in one now! Nice work

Nice setup..

I have a bud that rides BMW's and has a "K" bike with a cop radio box mounted to the rear seat area. He has it hollowed out and put a bladder in it = 3.5 more gals. He runs a pump up to the main tank. At 55mpg (that's what he gets) he's good for 450 miles. Great for those Iron Butt rides.

I'd like to see a better pic of the windscreen.

Love that screen!

However, the screen in about 70 euros and the shipping is over 90 euros...yikes.

Yeah, the screen was $160ish US and $10-15ish shipping.. but I like the versatility a lot.
