got my 43T sprocket the other day and was wondering
if I could get some opinions on either the speedohealer
and the yellow box for the speedometer...
Either one better or worse than the other?
I can get the speedohealer for 119$ CAD and it comes
with a button for top speed memory.. or 109$ CAD without...

Thanks
Joe.

I don't know about the Yellowbox, but the Speadolhealer is easy to install and easy to program. AND, it works!

+1 on the speedo... I love my speedo... healer.

Seriously though, I use the speedohealer and it pretty dead on accurate.

heh buffalojoe,If you dont mind me asking,What is the main reason for getting a Speedhealer?

Factory guage calibrations aren't 100% accurate, your speedo is off by a few miles/hr. And when you change gearing, it will be off even more and the speedohealer will fix that.

Examples:my 89 GSXR 750's tach was off by about 800rpms till I installed a programmable ignition which aslo fixed the inaccuracy.

You remember the big fuss over yamaha R6 and the 17,500 redline right?

SpeedoHealer!! Works great!! I have the top speed recall button which is pretty cool also! Easy to install to! Dont know any details on the yellow box to tell you.

I've got a Yellow Box...perfectly happy with it; easy to program but no top speed indicator. Probably better that way as I'm not quite as tempted to try and outdo myself

I have a yellowbox someone gave to me because he couldn't get it calibrated right. i have not tried to play with it myself yet.

From what i understand the speedhealer is a better product.

Alright then SpeedOhealer it is....
works out great as I can get it
locally.. well 4hrs away but they
ship...

Thanks for all your thoughts...
got the answer I was looking for.

Yeah Reiny... I didn't care much
before how accurate it was.. cause it
was likely close enough at traffic speeds
but now that I just picked up a 43 Tooth
sprocket it'll likely be waaaay out... and
that is too much work to think about all
the time..

Joe
