Soot around the exhaust outlets

Just wondering.  I have noticed that I have soot around the exhaust outlets and wanted to know if this was normal of if I might be running rich. The soot is around the muffler outlets. I am running Yosh RS3 and had it remapped about 800 miles ago.

Probably just a bit rich, which is normal, even stock. Remember that the A/F ratio is lower than it is for cars, since we don't have to deal with emissions the same as with cars.

Got piped or stock cans?

I just edited it while you were replying. I do have Yosh cans and had it remapped.

Still sounds like it could be a little rich. Check the map you are using. You may try going down one step on your PC II, but i would only do that if you have a way to check the mixture levels i.e. Dyno with sniffer, or Haliometer.
