not entirely do to the busa even though it was involved. all the hype surrounding the zx-12R also helped lead to the "gentelmens agreement" to limit top speed. here's my ?, why dont cars limit there speed to 186mph?all manufactures agreed to the law when they saw it starting to get out of hand.
All because of the Busa...
Yes but it wouldn't be wise. As mentioned above, doing so might get the government involved. You could very well be looking at 1300cc motorcycles with a governed speed of 120mph.so if they WANTED to, they could increase the top speed?
because an inexpirenced idiot who thinks they can handle anything have a hard time affording any car that can do that while almost anyone with a decent credit score can get a 10k bikenot entirely do to the busa even though it was involved. all the hype surrounding the zx-12R also helped lead to the "gentelmens agreement" to limit top speed. here's my ?, why dont cars limit there speed to 186mph?all manufactures agreed to the law when they saw it starting to get out of hand.

If you want to bypass the governed speed, you might want to look at a Gipro gear indicator w/tre. The BUSA is fast enough.
Not over 200 mph stock. Depending on lots of factors, I'd say 190 - 193 mph, and I'm not talking about the '08.ok so with a tre or other device, what would the stock busa to as the actual top speed? over 200mph?
