Signal mirrors

Here is what I did. I took the 06 mirrors with signals cut the post of the 1000 mirror as well as my stock mirror. Welded them together, a little fiberglass for the shaping of the post. Painted up and this is what they look like......Oh and I did have them on with the long posts, didn't like how far they stuck out. Oh and sorry for the quality, crappy camera phone.

did the gix to busa mod once before. To do it as easy as possible you need to cut and tap the gixxer shaft. It takes work, the boot doesn't mount to the mirror etc etc etc etc. The CBR unit has to be an easier swap.

where's the how to on the cbr mirrors those are badass, maybe put some running lights in there instead of signals

I've spent hours searching, and all I can seem to find is pics of the 1k mirrors without the inbuilt signal. Tried terms like "1k", "gsx*", "gixxer", and "signal mirrors" but no luck...

Ebay does have few pics of the gxr 1k mirrors Themselves. Just typed in gsxr 1000 mirror

Found these same ones on ebay. Says they'll fit a 'busa. How hard is it to hook up/splice into the directional wires?
