Well the gap isn't as bad as I thought it should be, I will give you that! Let us know what comes out of that gap when you put some rode time on it. Good luck.

I didn't take pics during the process, because I wasn't sure if it would work or not.
KWM Works if you took the end cap off you would see how the exhaust is made and you would know that if the job is done right then nothing is going to come out of the gaps. So here's to your hoax:

Sounds pretty good ! Your right, I havn't taken mine apart. I don't have the money for a new system and I'm afraid to ruin the ones I have.

Didn't call him a liar. If he took it that way I apologize. I knew there would be gap, figured around 3/16 around the whole cap. Couldn't see it in the photo's. Sorry amng04 for doubting you.

I commend you for thinking outside of the box. It sounds really sounds good and i like the look of it. You cut 10"s from the chrome lip on bottom cap correct?

go to "stock pipes mod" thread. He posted a good "how to" with some pics, so that is why I didn't post one on here. The only thing I did different from him was that I took the cut off tool and trimmed the exhaust outlet so it would slide back into the muffler. I then rolled the aluminum case over similar to the way the factory did it. I didn't want to use rivets because the end cap wouldn't cover them the way I was doing it. I also went a little crazy with a hole saw here lately. I will try to post a video in a few days.

Sorry folks, Looked at the pic a million times. The end cap fits tight in the photo and it can't be. It's pretty obvious that the end cap isn't modified to tighten it up to the muffler body. Think we have been hoaxed !!!!!! The proofs in the tape measure !
