It depends on your mods. If you look at all the different dyno sheets on this site you can see where people stop making power. If your hp flatlines at 9k and your torque starts to drop off that is where you need to shift. If you have a smooth ramp all the way to redline 10600 is where you need to be shifting. I would suggest an auto shifter if you are that close to the rev-limiter. This all depends on mods, and cam #'s
