Shift pattern

Any one running a racing shift pattern on their Busa and if so was the conversion easy or difficult. FYI racing pattern is reverse of normal with lever being pulled up for first and then down for the other five..................................Knebnr

Loosen the shift lever at the shaft. Reverse its direction. Re-install and tighten.

For a short while, yes. I'm too used to the standard setup, though. A number of people, especially those who like to do long wheelies, have this setup. This is the only way to reverse the direction, BTW. Takes about a minute to do with a 10mm wrench.

I did the switch and really like the reverse pattern. Had to remove the side stand switch as the lever contacted it, the switch was bypassed any way so problem was easily solved.....Thanks for info I think I am going to prefer a reversed pattern....................................Knebnr
