I went to ride my 2000 Busa after 6 months and it initially sounded like it was runing on 3 cylinders while normally driving (Bike has 4200 miles). After I would rev it , it seemed OK until the next time about a week later, when it would do it again , but wouldn't clear. I parked the bike for 6 Months and decided to pull the plugs. They looked good. Any Ideas?? I remember erading about the fuel pump screen & filter. Can someone tell me where the fuel filter is on a 2000 Busa? What side of the bike and where? Thanks in advance.

It looks like there is a screen in the tank, which is easy to remove. The main fuel filter is located with the pump. If you lift the tank, you should see it on the right side of the bike close to the frame. Just follow the hoses. You will see it.
are you sure that's the problem?
I'm sure those are the symtoms. I did just notice some rust forming inside the tank, so the idea of the inside clogged screen sounds logical. Is there a particular place I can get a new fuel filter? Anyone??
