rocks under fairings

Is it just me or is there an inordinate amount of pee gravel that gets into the under belly and under the radiator shroud panel peaces?

There was allot at my 500mi oil change and can't imagine after 2000mi. I hear them kicking up all the time.

Stay off the gravel roads???

I stay on pavement. Its the little pee gravels that collect on the side of the road,turns,ect.

Now that i think about it they did use a bunch of gravel trucks instead of salt when it iced/snowed a couple months ago which was unusual for this time of year in this area.

Those deep groves in these michellins tend to pick them up. I stay clear of the big piles at turns.

I have gravel and a lot of chain wax seems to form there.

I get all kinds of little pebbles and stones when I seperate the bottom fairing pieces.. they must fly up to the radiator then drop down in.

Yea i mean the under belly pan under the engine. I can hear them bounce around off the radiator and shroud and fall down there from time to time.

Its normal you are going to pick up dirt rocks and dust from riding just have to break out the pledge
