I'm going to change my own oil on my O5. I have all the hex bolts removed on the right cowling. Down by the bottom of the tank, I seem to be hung up by the small plastic cover. How do you remove this? Do you just pry it up. It appears to be pictured in the online manual with a dotted line called "A". Any helps or trick to removing the cowling would be much appreciated. Thanks again for all the help.

There is one hex bolt on the black plastic panel and one black plastic rivet. Take a small flat bladed screwdriver and pry up the head of the rivet, there is a little notch on the head of the rivet....this upper part of the rivet needs to come out about 1/2" and then the rivet will come out.

The back half of the black panel has a pin that holds it down....just wiggle it loose and your good to go
