Taa Taa Taa!!....Safety first.

Reflectors are staying on mine for a while. I dont think they add to much weight to slow it down. And their is no way you can take away from the beauty of Blue and Silver....I have removed the stickers from the tank and fairing.

But those stickers are there to "remind" you to be safe! LOL!

I think the bike looks cleaner without the reflectors... at least black ones do. I wouldn't mind a new undertail, but that's not cheap... so I'm sticking to smaller changes.

same here.  I might cut mind down and get some smaller signal lights.  I'll wait until this winter though

Just for looks. They really don't serve a purpose, unless you park on the street at night....but even then you can do without them.

Oh, those stickers...

Naturally they came right off the textured plastic just fine. But when I got to the one on the tank, it decided to fragment into leetle tiny pieces, thus leaving that nasty adhesive residue behind.

It took an hour of methodical finger and Tshirt-rubbing to get it all off and my fingertips are still sensitive 2 days after.

But at least the tank is mar-free.

Next time we will give you some secrets to get it off, if you ask.

Actually, there are those pesky sticker on the frame.  I invite you to divulge the secret now, if you would be so kind.

Hoping you don't say blow dryer.  ;)

Yep... a blow dryer directly on the sticker will get it off. It takes a while it'll happen.

The stickers on the frame don't bother me at all. If those did, they'd be history... but the stickers on the tank and fairing had to go! 1st mod of all!

1.sticker removal
2.reflector removal
3.undertail (or mudflap cutdown mod)
4.maybe a tank pad if that's your thing
5.new windscreen (suggest a double bubble)
6.performance mods... if stock just ain't enough for ya... *includes lowering

Reflectors easily removed, appearance much improved, minimal safety loss IMHO.

ok I got it , pull down on the reflector while turning the screw. What happened to the nuts? the bike looks way better without the reflectors.

looks good. those were the first thing gone on mine also. Now bo back and cut the shovel off or pickup an undertail with intergrated signals.
