Anyone know if the stock Gen II brake line has enough slack to use on a 4" over swingarm?Bought a new 2"-6" over Evil arm and looks like the OEM line will still work if I go back 4"(only plan on going back about 4")but was wondering if you guys knew for sure before I ordered a new braided line.

Thanks,
Jeff

At a guess it will. I bought an 8 over swingarm and ordered a 8 over brake line and it is way too long with the axle sitting at 7 over
On my McIntosh the caliper actually rotates a little more forward due to the way the bracket is retained

Thanks bro,I'll check it out when the arm gets here and see if I need a longer line but it looks like the OEM will probably reach.:thumbsup:Think I've actually used my rear brake like 4 times in 4 years and does about as good as dragging my feet, guess it may be acceptable as a poor substitute in case of an emergency(like if the front for some reason didn't work at all)but that's about it.:D
