Radar Gun Useage

Since the topic came up on Radar Gun and the use and will our Hayabusa get tracked and picked up by a Radar Gun,yes it will due to the reflective light fixture in the front of your bike, talk about good Radar signature. But if you have an officer that does not know how to use the gun correctly he might not able to get the reading correctly and if there's a bigger car/truck behind you or heavy traffic good luck in getting your motorcycle clocked correctly. If you are the only one on the Road, then sign the ticket or twist the wrist and see if you can out run the radio or avoid an accident.Anyways running away from the cops in California becomes a felony offense, new law for 1999.As for the RADAR signals no matter what BAND or Laser beam the way it gets your reading is a pulse goes out and hits it's target and a return signal goes back to the receiver part of the gun,the first pulse plus the returning pulse has a time span and that is sent into a electronic circuit that calculates your speed. Most roads have to tested before it can be used as a RADAR setup for Peace officers to use,"California only",not sure about other states. That is one of the got you that you can use when fighting a speeding ticket via RADAR reading.Read you states DMV Vehicle booklet that you can buy from your local DMV office it has all the laws that the cops have to go by when it comes to vehicle stops and infractions,I know bikers who has won various cases due to the fact that they new the law better than the officers due to the DMV book.Hope this helps out someone.
