Can't wait...may go.  I'm always so damn worried about leaving my bike outside without having it in a trailer.  Lots of bikes go missing in Daytona during this time of year.

Could try the infield.

Can Spies Threepeat??
I think Mladin will finally get his #1 plate back. But it's gonna be super close. I just wanna see how Spies will do as a wild card for the Indy and Laguna rounds.
naaa

I think if Spies is as motivated as last year, he'll beat Mlandin again.  But he may be thinking more about MotoGP and lose some focus

As for the wildcards, I'll be impressed if he places in the top 10. And shocked if he's in the top 5.

Depending on equipment, Spies could win at Laguna

I definitely agree.

if he gets enough setup/practice time on the Rizla (I'm assuming they'll run a 3rd bike for wild card), he could possibly take that round. I suspect only a top 10 finish for Indy though, as it seems to be a more "GP" layout.

1. he's superstrong at laguna and has beaten Mladin there 3 times.

2. in addition to #1, Mladin was the same "stepping stone" for Hayden before he made the jump to GP's. Spies narrowly won the title from Mladin, who happened to be in top physical and mental form. Mat has even stated in several interviews that he's trying to prepare Ben for the jump to GP also. And that he's THE MOST formidable opponent he's ever raced.

3. Ben's young age makes him a good candidate for adaptation to GP machines and riding styles. I'm sure the corner speed and electronics will take time, but when he finds his click, watch out.

hope MALDIN win's it this year.. i though jake holder was doing very good for jordan but guess i was wrong..he is riding a CBR this year.
