Questions on starter clutch for 2000 busa

I have a 2000 busa that needs a new starter clutch. I know they have discontinued the original part. I know I need a new cover and starter clutch. my questin is do I need to get all the gearing as well. So if anyone has been thru this and can teach me as to what all I need to buy that would be great.

2003 - 2007 is uprgraded starter parts.....I can't remember what's different but it is.....
