Starter clutch question

My starter clutch went out on my 2000 busa. Does anyone on here know if I can put a newer year part into my bike. I know that the part number changes after 05 but I wonder if they have improved the newer years and will interchange with the older bikes.

Your gonna need the setup off an 02' and up busa. Gen1. Should be easy to piece together. Isuggest buying the hardened starter shafts from Brock's. Your lucky this didn't break your engine case which has happened to many.
