So I took the oil pan off and there was some copper colored pieces of metal in the bottom. Thought I had struck gold! So am I right in assuming its bearing material and one is starting to go out? The motor wan't making any knocking noise before this, I was installing a turbo system and that suddenly came to a stop with this discovery. Throw out some options for my next step from cheap easy fix to full blown 6 sec. engine build. Scratch the 6 sec. maybe some mid to high 8's.

Original Clutch? What does the clutch look like? That would be my first guess.

I don't have that much experience in busa engine building, but if you get all the way to the copper in a bearing you should have more signs than what you are seeing. That is assuming a running motor you are familiar with.

Maybe someone else will chime in here.

I would assume clutch residue as well, but it's been a while since I stayed at a Holiday Inn...

When you strike it rich with a motorcycle it usually cost money..if it's a bearing there will be gold/brass looking shavings in the pan...post pic if you can..
