Lets say I want to get some flames on my bike ok? Now what 'style' of flames are there? Is there an 'old' way of doing flames and a 'new' way of doing flames? Tell me is there a classification between the two?

is pinstripped flames the 'oldschool' way of doing flames, versus airbrushing flames the 'new school' way?

Where to begin.  Old school, new school, crab claws, tribal, realistic.  To pin stripe or not to pin stripe.  Ghost them, or make'em jump out.  It's all really a matter of personal preference.  Here are a few links that might help you decide.

The true flames are impressive imo. Everybody has the "traditional" flames. The blue flames on the 4th link are pretty sweet.
