I posted sometime back about men wearing nail polish.

If I could have gotten away with taking a picture of it I would have.

Today I had to go the grocery store. In this particular store you can buy one or two items at the customer service desk, bypassing cashiers and self serve check outs.

So there was a line of like 5 people. I make #6. The customer service person (I am not kidding one bit here), had a full long beard, thinning hair so bald on top and long down the sides. Like down the back long. Dyed purpleish blue on the top layer and an orangey color on the under layer. Pulled back into a pony tail, with a red bow tied into the pony tail. Was about 5'6"" and obese. I'll guess 280ish lbs.. I thought at first it was perhaps a man with just a case of man boobs. More on that in a second.

Red lipstick on, and ear rings. Long fingernails, painted red to match the bow and lipstick As I got closer, I and others in line were all trying to process this. You can see the perplexed looks.

Now we get to the man boobs. They are not. They are boobs. In a bra you could make out under the clothing. Larger than the contour of the rest of the torso. Not proportional to the rest of the chest. Oversized. And not trying to be subdued, just the opposite.

And now you get close enough to hear the voice. Definitely a deep male voice. He/she did their job which is all we need to have happen.

But now to be courteous I don't worry if I'm supposed to say Thank You Sir or Thank You Ma'am. I honestly didn't know what to call him/her. 4 months ago we had to worry about offending someone by not using the proper pronoun. Now all we have to is be glad they do their job and not tell us how we are to identify them. I don't have to care now.

I said TY sir as we completed our transaction at the store. And I didn't care if I got it wrong. They dress and appear the way they do not by accident. So it's now on them if people don't have the patience to try and figure it out.

But eyeliner on men is OK, like on vance? How about the new makeup room that hegseth is having put in at the pentagon. We wouldn't want to have someone leading our military that isn't pretty now, would we?

We had a larger middle class to share the economic burden.

Doctors made house calls.

Attorneys didn't make their livings on frivolous lawsuits.

Kids were taken out to the woodshed with Dad and a belt if they bis-behaved.

We both grew up with guns in truck racks. None of us went to o those trucks to solve a dispute. Kids had chores. With consequences if they didn't get done. Kids were taught right from wrong. With the rewards and consequences that came with that.

Cops could administer some street justice in a common sense way.

Your type and my type aren't what changed any of that. Yet your type and my type are the ones they blame for the changes that took place. It was our fault that time needed to change.

Cops still administer "street justice". Just ask George Floyd.

I recently spoke with someone that spent a few months in Mexico for the winter. He related this story about a MAGAt that happened there. Him and his wife were at a show and a guy came walking in with a red MAGAt hat on. One of the waiters came by him and took his hat off. The guy that had his hat taken got up and walked toward the waiter, who then threw the hat to another waiter. Soon, one of the waiters ran out the door with the hat. The MAGAt followed him out the door, only to return a short time later with no hat and a bloody face.

I'm liking Mexico more and more by the minute. Maybe you should try it with your MAGAt costumes.

When I was in service to my country, we were held to a higher standard of conduct to represent our country with integrity. I don't know if Canadians were held to that standard. But they came down HARD on us if we did not. For instance we were not permitted to participate in any protest. As that would show a political stance. Our job was to be neutral.

Of course we see the protest. And yes I'd magine they are also ones torching Teslas.

At this point both sides are peacefully protesting. Completely within their Constitutionally protected rights to do.

Maybe if trump and president musk would stop with the shredding of our constitution, the mischief with Tesla's would stop.

There was a time when I considered buying a Tesla. That ship has sailed and I hope Tesla goes out of business. We don't need to feed the fascist's anymore.

In the matter of torching Tesla's yes.

Has the right done stupid violent things? Absolutely.

I never said either side hasn't violently protested. It's generally the side that lost the election that's doing it. The only recent event where both sides were united in protest, was 9/11.

Now we have a governor who has stoked his constituents. Walz never told anyone to torch Teslas. But he certainly was gleeful to state he wanted Tesla to suffer. That type conduct is all it takes.

You watch. Soon it will be compared to Jan 6 participants.

I also want to see tesla and musk suffer financially. Does that also make me a domestic terrorist? And don't hold your breath waiting for comparisons between Tesla protesters and January 6th cop killers. I have yet to see any cops dying due to Tesla's being vandalized.
