problem loading map on Power commander

Ok, so i hold the buttons down, turn the ignition on, light on the PC comes on, i load map but when i go to send it to the PC.. it says PC isnt connected. do i need 2 turn the bike on at some point to make it find the power commander??

i think i figured it out.. i gotta have the bike running. duh

nope, didnt work. atleast yet. i tried all the coms and only com 3 says "com 3 found, but cant not find power commander" i did this running and not running

well, for anyone rocking a PCII still, just fyi, its not a fan of vista

hmmm sorry have a pc3 and did mine hooked to my desktop, USB cable, and a 9v battery...worked great

have you tried loading it off the bike???

i got it to work. i got my friends laptop with XP, installed the PC software, hooked it up, worked 1st time.
