Guys, got another question for you, is anybody running a GT35 Journal Bearing turbo on here? If so, my question is simple, do you run any kind of restriction in the oil feed line to the turbo?
depends on your oil pressure. If you have high volume gear and a high pressure valve then you may want to put a restrictor in the line. I just used an old NOS jet in the line.
if running a -4an oil line then a .065 restrictor would be recommended on a plain bearing
if a -3an then you might be fine without a restrictor (*this is the oil line I recommend everyone use)
if you are running a high volume oil pump gear you'd be best off running the .065 restrictor and if it smokes step don't .005 each time to see if that helps with the smoking
