Hello all!!

This is my first post I have read plenty of this forums threads to figure out some things, I know you guys have alot of knowledge so wondering if yall could throw some my way.

I had my 99' Hayabusa for about 2 years and was in a wreck due to a lady not paying attention and pulling in front of me. I'm rebuilding what needs to be rebuilt on it and want to turbo it, but I dont have tons of cash to throw in one shot so I figured work overtime by parts each month then get them put in. If any of you can give me some things to add to my list would be great.

Heres pictures of the wreck afterwards :

Thanks in advance

Wow that sucks...........im glad to hear that you are ok and wanting to get back in the saddle again  If you want to do the turbo I know there is a ton of info and threads on this forum to do it. All I can say is the most recommended place to get your bike setup and tuned is Frank at Powerhouse. Check out their website, it should show you what your gonna need and the prices. goodluck

Thanks, #1. s1kn3s: whether or not you plan on going into the motor, at the very least you should install the high output oil pump gear, clutch mod, good springs and a slave support. You should also modify the thermostat. Those would be baseline mods for what would be considered a Stage One. Additional modifications to your powerplant might become necessary depending on how much rwhp you are shooting for. Feel free to pm, email or contact me directly as you go forward . . .

Thanks #1 busa yeah im ok just more worried about my bike. my left ankle was hammered pretty good missed a week of work and couldnt walk for that week.

Thanks frank yea I sent you a PM about some questions I have.

Yea I'm making a list of the parts to order and just hold onto those till I have everything I need so the motor only has to be apart once.

Another question my bike is at about 25k miles I have heard about replacing the chain tensioner pretty soon but im not sure how to do that. I'm pretty mechanically inclined but no place to really work on it right now.
