Thursday afternoon my fiancee's parents were out riding, when the came to a stop light, her mom(who was on her bike) look over at her dad and said I think I've had a stroke. He told her to pull it over, she did and said the same thing, then went on to ask where they where and how they got there? He told her to follow him home, wasn't the best call but watching your wife of 39 years not know where she is or how she got there how could you make the right choice. Well he took her to Mission Hospital where she was diagnosed with TRANS GLOBAL AMNESIA, they said its temporary and she should make a full recovery. It's now sat and she still isn't quite back to normal, and really has no clue what happened to her. We are just thankful that she didn't wreck and had the where with all to know something wasn't right. I'll update when we find out anything else.......

Have them check her for reactive hypoglycemia. My wife did a very similar thing at work. Turns out her blood sugar suddenly plummeted because she was late eating then had some sugar. Her system overreacted, her sugar went through the floor. She couldn't remember her middle name, my name, wasn't sure she was married, one of her coworkers noticed she was standing at the sink rinsing a vial for several minutes just running water over it. Pupils were dilated differently, all the signs of a stroke. All it took was a routine eating schedule and she's fine now. I really hope that your wife's issue turns out to be as simple to fix.

I mentioned this to my fiancee and she said that her sugar was normal that was one of the first things they checked. We've been trying to research and seen where its temporary and some things say it can reoccur, but they say stress can be a big factor to where u almost just snap/ or the chemicals just flood the brain.

It's so crazy her mom is so.intelligent and is an active nurse for 38 years and to see her not remember anything or no what's going on is mind blowing

That's the weird thing about reactive. When they checked it at the hospital it was normal even though it took several hours for her to act normal.

What ever it is I really hope it's simple and they can diagnose her with something. A friend of mine's wife has developed a fainting/vertigo problem. No diagnosis, no idea why or what could be happening. That's worse than a diagnosis of whatever it could be plus they can't treat it.

well laura just talked to her dad and she isnt really getting any better. he has become really depressed, understandable, hopefully throughout the next week she come full circle,

Sings,wonders & Miracles God is in control my brother my wife and I will keep her in prayer for the next 4 weeks we need to know her name to add her in our prayer list and other prayer warrios we need to claim her by her name and ask our migthy god to perform a miracle I am believing in that already god is going to move that I can assure you just have faith,just to share something with you last week in our church we saw the "cripple walk"," we saw the deaf heard" that's why I am believing that your fiancee's parent is going get recieve healing we confidance in our lord Jesus Crist " remember we are heal by his strikes"
