Power commander help

When do I need a power commander?
I put some slip-on on my 2006 busa about 1,000 miles ago with no other mods and it runs ok but sound like its a little rich. I was thinking about putting the stock exhaust back on until I can buy a power commander. Does any one run slip-ons/bolt-ons with out a power commander

i ran my yoshi slip-ons for about 2 months *around 2000-2500 miles* w/o a PC. then i added one. only thing i noticed was my gas milage go down..

u can run slip-ons without a PC, dont worry.

dont need a PC with slipons... you might get occasional back fire but you can do the "marble mod" to correct that...
